SELFIE & Digital Citizenship Education Information Session
On the 22nd of January 2020 the Directorate for Digital Literacy and Transversal Skills organised an information session about SELFIE & Digital Citizenship Education. SELFIE is a tool that helps schools to better know where they stand in the innovative use of digital tools in teaching and learning. On the other hand, Digital Citizenship Education (DCE) is intended to help young people to develop the competences required to engage and act as active participants in society through the use of digital technologies. Digital Citizenship Education is best conceived as a whole-school approach rather than a subject in the curriculum since it involves values and attitudes, not just technical skills and knowledge. You can learn more about SELFIE here.
